Tales from the Crypt (1991) (TV)

- This horror anthology always started and ended with the Crypt Keeper rattling off a ghoulish pun, and featured stories of murder, the super natural, gore and humor. Each show always had a twisted ending of sorts.

Soapdish (1991)

- This is a fun-filled look at the off-camera, off-color lives of the cast and crew of a popular daytime drama called "The Sun Also Sets" as the hectic pace, outlandish situations and unbelievable characters involved in making a hit television show all come to life in hysterical fashion.

Ghost (1990)
- Starring as Oda Mae Brown
- Sam Wheat (Patrick Swayze) was murdered during a date with his girlfriend Molly (Demi Moore), but Sam's spirit remains on the Earth, unseen to normal people. After following his murderer, Sam realizes that his death was not an accident, and that Molly is in danger. Sam's ghost tries to warn her, but she doesn't know he is even there. Sam then meets a spiritualist, who can hear him, so he convince her to help him save Molly and make the criminals pay for what they did to him.
- Oda Mae Brown is a spiritualist, who is so obviously a huckster but, she doesn't know that she can actually hear the dead, so when Sam speaks to her, she hears him.

Jumpin' Jack Flash (1986)
- Starring as Terry Dolittle
- Terry works for a bank, and uses computers to communicate with clients all over the world. One day she gets a strange message from an unknown source. The message is coded. After decoding the message, Terry becomes embroiled in an espionage ring. People are killed, and Terry is chased. Throughout she remains in contact with this unknown person, who needs Terry to help save his life.

Moonlighting (1986) (TV)
- Starring as Camille Brand in "Camille"
- When former fashion model Maddie Hayes (Cybill Shepherd) goes broke and finds that one of her few remaining assets is the Blue Moon Detective Agency. She partners with David Addison (Bruce Willis) to solve some quirky cases.
- In this episode, Camille Brand is a con-artist that unintentionally saves the life of a politician while evading arrest by a very determined, but crooked cop. Maddie and David are convinced that the highly untrustworthy Camille might be a valuable addition to the Blue Moon Detective Agency.

The Color Purple (1985)

- This is Steven Spielberg's adaptation of Alice Walker's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel about Celie Johnson, a sharecropper's daughter living in rural Georgia. The film opens in 1909 when Celie is a young girl, a victim of incest, pregnant with her father's child. Ugly and unloved, separated from her children and her sister, Celie's only option is marriage to an abusive, philandering husband (Danny Glover) who treats her little better than a slave. Her life changes forever when her husband brings his mistress, a beautiful blues singer named Shug (Margaret Avery), into the house. This film was also thedebut for Oprah Winfrey, who plays Celie's sister-in-law, Sofia.
