The
Simpsons (1993 and 1997) (TV) Official
Site
- Starring as Himself (voice ) in "Marge vs. the
Monorail"
- Starring as Himself (voice ) in "The Springfield
Files"
- The Simpsons has been running since 1989 and is one
of the most popular sitcoms of all time. The cartoon
is about a very politically incorrect family featuring
Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie Simpson.. If you
need more you would have to crawl out from under that
rock you've been under.
- In Marge vs. the Monorail, Springfield gets a new
monorail and Homer is driving it. The Monorail turns
out to be a piece of junk and when it speeds out of
control, Homer must use all his skills to stop it.
- Leonard Nimoy shows up for the maiden voyage to add
an unsolved mysteries and Star Trek theme to it.
- In The Springfield Files Homer goes to the Moe's but
has to walk home and he sees an alien. Mulder and Scully
show up to investigate while Homer and Bart go out to
get hard evidence on the alien. The whole town shows
up the following Friday evening to see it, but Smithers
tells them that it's just Mr. Burns on his medication.
- Leonard Nimoy opens this particular tale about a typical
Friday night with an in search of theme to it. He also
helps out with the singing at the end. |

The
New Outer Limits (1995) (TV)
- Starring as Thurman Cutler in "I, Robot"
- The TV show started with the screen going black and
then wavy lines appearing etc. Then you would hear the
narrator start saying, "There is nothing wrong
with your television set. Much like The Twilight Zone,
it was more focused on hard science fiction than fantasy
and was a full hour.
- This episode is just a newer version of the original
where a robot is accused of murder and it turns
out that the prosecution is not simply placing the robot
on trial, but mankind itself as irresponsible and abusive
of technology.
- In this version Leonard Nimoy actually plays a different
character than in the original. Thurman Cutler is a
defense attorney brought out of retirement to defend
the robot.
