The
Twilight Zone (1964) (TV)
- Starring as Taro in "The Encounter"
- The TV Series originally ran from 1959 to 1964. Rod
Serling hosted a bizarre and always twisted half hour
story about anything you could possibly imagine.
- WWII veteran Fenton is a racial bigot who reluctantly
hires Nisei youth Taro as a handyman. In the course
of an extremely eventful day, both men are strangely
affected by the Japanese samurai sword which Fenton
keeps stored in his attic.
- Apparently, this episode upset several Japanese-American
organizations, who didn't like parts of George Takei's
character. |

Reynolds abandons all notions of "military protocol"
and seeks requital. Also starring Peter Lawford and
