The aliens shields are disabled by David Levinson and Captain Steven Hiller (Will Smith). The human race unites in an attack, with the help of the President of the United States (Bill Pullman).
- Dr. Brackish Okun is the scientist that greets our heroes at Area 51. He's a bit quirky because he doesn't get out much and ends up dying at the tentacles of an alien anyway.
